I’ve designed a Crafty Journal to plan, track and reflect on your crafty projects!
The journal was designed for anyone who wants to keep track of their creative projects, regardless of the craft or medium they use.
One of the reasons I created this journal is because I’ve always wanted a journal like this but couldn’t find exactly what I needed. I’ve used various forms of journaling, including diaries, sketchbooks, bullet journals, trackers, and reflections for many years.
I’m Kate, also known as KatieCelf (celf means ‘art’ in Welsh). I studied art and design and was fortunate to have access to various creative mediums to explore my art during my college and university years.
I’ve also worked in the creative industries for many years and continue to pursue my own projects at home. That’s why I wanted this journal to be applicable to various art, craft, and creative mediums.
My main interests include sewing, both by machine and by hand, crochet, some knitting, quilting, drawing, sketching, digital art, and painting. In the past, I’ve also dabbled in printmaking, glass etching, clay, felting, woodworking, resin, pysanky eggs, and more.
In recent years, I’ve trained to be a midwife, and I’ve found reflective practice incredibly useful in various aspects of my life, including my creative pursuits. It’s particularly beneficial for mindfulness and skill development.
